
We start our journey of holy sites in Delhi - at the Lotus Temple. From Delhi, we move on to the holy town of Rishikesh situated on the banks of the river Ganga - India's holy river. We move onwards to the Himalayan Mountains to the most important pilgrimage site of India - Badrinath Temple - located at 3,415 metres (11,204 feet). We now head back to Rishikesh and enjoy the famous aarti (prayer ceremony) at the bank of the Ganges. Continuing our journey, we move on to visit the golden temple of Amritsar - the holiest shrine of the Sikh religion. From here, our journey takes us to the various temples of Rajasthan -starting from the rat temple of Bikaner, the Dilwara temples of Mount Abu and the temples of Pushkar and Jaipur. On the last leg of our journey, we visit the holy city of Mathura and en route we visit the Taj Mahal - one of the 7 wonders of the world. We end our journey in Delhi.
